Nick is a professional dancer, acrobat, and choreographer native to southern California. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from California State University, Fullerton. He teaches Contact Improvisation workshops and has choreographed many dances for CSUF.

He has also performed with the internationally renowned company, Diavolo Dance Theatre. With Diavolo, Nick has performed in major cities in the United States, South Korea, Brazil and Italy. He has also taught for Diavolo workshops, master classes and company classes.

Currently, you can find Nick performing for millions of people from around the world as an acrobat at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA.

Nick is thrilled to be working with Spinnovation on the simple wheel.

 

Jonathan is a natural athlete and began his acrobatic career as a competitive cheerleader from High School, College and Open All Star Level. Jonathan is also a proficient trampolinist and has been performing on this Olympic apparatus in shows for Disney since 2006.  Jonathan coaches children as well as adults in cheerleading, trampoline and gymnastics.  He is currently employed with Disney and is well versed in several circus disciplines including the Simple wheel. Jonathan is passionate about trying any new acrobatic challenge and we are very excited to have him as part of our Team Spinnovation. His long term aspiration is to one day perform with Cirque du Soleil.

Team Spinnovation is comprised of  individuals who are committed to promoting the art of simple wheel through performance and instruction. Each member brings distinct talents to the group which help to create its unique and dynamic rendering of Simple Wheel.


Victor Flores was a artistic gymnast for 14 years and competed at the elite level for the Mexican National Team. He has been a professional acrobat for 10 years and, in addition to corporate/special event  performances, he has performed in shows at Sea World like World Rhythms on Ice and Cirque de la Mer. Victor teamed up with his brother to create De Leon Productions, a professional acrobatic entertainment company. Currently his favorite apparatus is the Simple Wheel and he is very excited to be part of Team Spinnovation. Victor resides in San Diego, CA where he is the  Director of Spinnovation classes at Flip Force training facility.

“When I was a little boy there was a large hill just down the street from my house. The other kids said it was not possible to ride a skateboard down that hill. I have been proving people wrong about what can and what can not be done ever since”

Morris is a professional student of the circus and has studied around the world. He has never graduated and never will. He has been invited to join the circus, but can not overcome his fear of sleeping in a large tent with clowns. . Morris also studied and performed improve comedy with BATS and currently teaches trapeze for trapeze school New York. Morris is always looking for steeper hill to skate down. The simple wheel is his   latest passion and challenge.



Andy, a native of Greenfield, Wisconsin, graduated from Marquette University in 2003 with a degree in Performing Arts. Upon graduating he danced, toured and taught with Pilobolus Dance Theater for six years, serving as Dance Captain for three. With Pilobolus he performed in 12 countries and 44 states for more than 400,000 people. He has appeared with the company on Oprah, Ellen Degeneres, and the 2007 Academy Awards. He finished full time touring in December of 2009 but continues to work with Pilobolus on other projects. He was introduced to the Simple Wheel by Sam while on tour and was hooked. He was gifted his first wheel by Pilobolus in the summer of 2009 so he could stay in shape once he left the company. He is continually training and will be introducing Spinnovation to Wisconsin this spring. Besides dancing and spinning, Andy is a full time father of two, Tristan Basil and Wilhelmina Isabelle. He is currently living in Wisconsin and managing a dairy farm with his two kids and wife, Julia.

David Poznanter is a professional actor, singer, dancer, circus artist, and teacher. From performing with an acrobatic troupe in Beijing, China to teaching circus arts in Salvador, Brazil, David’s career has led him to perform, teach, and choreograph in 35 states and more than a dozen countries around the world. David has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and television appearances all over the country, including live interviews and acrobatic performances on NBC, Fox News, ABC and CBS.



David received his Bachelor’s degree in Music and Theatre from UC Santa Cruz in 2001; attended Ecole LASSAAD, a physical theatre conservatory in Brussels, Belgium in 2003; graduated from the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance in 2007; toured Europe performing and working with choreographers and acrobatic coaches to develop his own unique style of interdisciplinary performance; and then spent a year as the Regional Managing Director of Havik Circus in the Dominican Republic. David most recently received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College and completed an 80-city North American tour with Cirque Dreams: Illumination, performing acrobatics, physical theatre, unicycling, and singing.
